Does IntraVet provide
hardware and networking services?
Yes. Almost 60% of our clients use both our hardware and networking services. Our Microsoft Certified staff members will train your staff how to use both. And since we don't subcontract our services to third-party individuals or vendors, you'll have one number you can call for support.
Can I maintain a paperless
environment with IntraVet?
Yes. IntraVet lets you enter unlimited medical information in both SOAP format and free-hand notes, and you can attach scanned documents, digital images and X-ray images to related services. You can also transfer lab results from in-house equipment to patient histories. And what's more, patient histories automatically update from inventory entries and treatment notes.
Can I print pet pictures on invoices?
Yes. IntraVet prints pet pictures on invoices, rabies certificates and cage tags.
Do I ever need to close the day in
IntraVet to generate reminders or reports?
No. IntraVet does not force closings. With our single-entry system, records are updated dynamically so reminders, statements and reports can be generated at any time, for any time period.

Does IntraVet handle inventory?
Yes. IntraVet provides a full inventory control system to track inventory values such as average costing, quantity pricing, buy-sell ratios, taxing, controlled substances, minimum charges, dispensing fees, purchase orders, discounting, etc.
IntraVet also generates reports showing inventory usage, quantity-on-hand, re-order lists and purchase histories by time or by vendor.
Can I save estimates in IntraVet?
Yes. You can save multiple estimates for patients, using one of many templates that make estimate generation easy and accurate. IntraVet also lets you specify a price range for your services.
Does IntraVet have an appointment scheduler?
Yes. In IntraVet you can define appointment types and reasons, automatically set appointment length, enter memos, reserve slots for services, block slots for services, block sections of the day, move appointments and search for appointment slots available by provider.
The calendar is attractively color-coded to track no-shows as well as clients who have checked in or out. IntraVet lets you keep up to eight separate appointment books, which you can view by Week-At-A-Glance or Month-At-A-Glance.
Does IntraVet have a boarding module?
Yes. IntraVet has an excellent graphical boarding module to help you manage your boarding facility. It allows you to set up feeding, exercise schedules, medication schedules, services to be performed and items to be dispensed during boarding. Weekend and holiday surcharges are easy to implement, and charges can be set up for cage type or by weight.
Can the data from my present system be converted to IntraVet?
Yes. Our computer programmers have done hundreds of conversions over the years. They are experienced in converting data from most veterinary software programs and have had great success converting custom programs as well.
Can I connect my lab equipment to the IntraVet system?
Yes. IntraVet can connect to most in-house lab equipment, as well as most digital scales. See the Integrations page for a more complete list of compatible hardware.
Does IntraVet work with QuickBooks®?
Yes. IntraVet provides the ability to download revenue-related numbers and accounts receivable to an export file that QuickBooks® then can import into the appropriate accounts.
