At IntraVet, there's a difference in how we do things and it all centers around our people. People who take the time to listen to our customers. We continually monitor customer questions and concerns by developing one-on-one relationships with every one of our customers. At IntraVet there is a difference - and we like to think it's the company we keep. Our initial involvement with veterinary practices came in 1985 when a veterinary practice from Ashtabula Ohio retained our services to design and develop a software application that would replace their existing system. The new software application “IntraVet” was installed on November 1,1986. With their recommendation, others followed, giving IntraVet much needed exposure among veterinarians in Ohio, and then in the surrounding states.
Since then, with over 2000 clinics and growing, IntraVet has become "THE" alternative for many aging systems and our users placed IntraVet on top for the 5th time in a row with the AAHA Trends magazine 2006 software survey. At the end of 2005, IntraVet became part of Webster Veterinary Supply, Inc., a division of Patterson Companies, Inc. During the 90's IntraVet grew substantially, reaching over 650 veterinary clinics nationwide. In 1998, AAHA Trends magazine “Readers Choice Software Survey” placed IntraVet on top in terms of product features, support and services. Also in 1998 IntraVet for Windows was introduced to replace the DOS application.
