Is IntraVet network compatible? Yes. IntraVet works for single and multi-users. We support Windows 98, XP Pro, Windows NT and Windows 2000. How many veterinary hospitals use IntraVet? More than 1,500, and we're adding more all the time. What do I get when I purchase the Annual Support Contract? The support contract buys you unlimited telephone support. Plus, all of the enhancements that are made to IntraVet during the year are made available to you at no additional charge. Does IntraVet provide hardware and networking services? Yes. Almost 60% of our clients use both our hardware and networking services. Our Microsoft and Citrix certified staff members will train your staff how to use both. And since we don't subcontract our services to third party individuals or vendors, you'll have one number to call for support. Can I maintain a paperless environment with IntraVet? Yes. IntraVet lets you enter unlimited medical information both in SOAP format as well as free-hand notes. You can attach scanned documents along with digital and x-ray images to related services. Patient histories are automatically updated from inventory entries and treatment notes. Lab results from in-house equipment also can be transferred to patient histories. Can I print pet pictures on invoices? Yes. IntraVet prints pet pictures on invoices, rabies certificates and cage tags. Do I ever need to close the day in IntraVet to generate reminders or reports? No. IntraVet does not force closings. With our single entry system, records are updated dynamically and reminders, statements and reports can be generated at any time for any period of time. Does IntraVet handle inventory? Yes. IntraVet provides a full inventory control system to track inventory values such as average costing, quantity pricing, buy-sell ratios, taxing, controlled substances, minimum charges, dispensing fees, purchase orders, discounting etc. IntraVet also generates reports showing inventory usage, quantity-on-hand, re-order lists and purchase histories by item or by vendor. Can IntraVet e-mail reminders? Yes. Can I save estimates in IntraVet? Yes. Multiple estimates can be saved for patients. IntraVet lets you specify a price range for your services. You also have estimate templates to make estimate generation easier and more accurate. Does IntraVet have appointment scheduler? Yes. IntraVet has the best scheduler in the industry. You can define appointment types and reasons, automatically set appointment length, enter memos, reserve slots for certain services, block sections of the day, move appointments around and search for desired appointment slots available by provider. The calendar is attractively color coded for visual display. IntraVet tracks no shows and indicates who has checked in or out using these color codes. IntraVet lets you keep eight separate appointment books in the system. IntraVet also provides Week at A Glance and Month at A Glance for easy viewing. Does IntraVet have a boarding module? Yes. IntraVet has an excellent integrated graphical boarding module that will help you manage your boarding facility. It allows you to setup feeding, exercise and medication schedules, as well as services to be performed and items to be dispensed during boarding. Weekend and holiday surcharges are easy to implement and charges can be setup for cage types or by weight. Can the data from my present system be converted to IntraVet? Yes. Our computer programmers have done hundreds of conversions over the years. They are experienced in converting data from almost all the veterinary software programs and they have had great success converting custom programs as well. Will I be able to use my existing computers? Probably. If your Windows-based computers meet or exceed IntraVet's minimum requirements and are network-ready, they should work with our software. Can I connect my lab equipment to the IntraVet system? Yes. IntraVet can connect to both Idexx and Abaxis Lab equipment, as well as most digital scales. Does IntraVet work with QuickBooks? Yes. IntraVet provides the ability to download revenue-related numbers and accounts receivable to an export file that QuickBooks® then can import into the appropriate accounts. |
